Volunteers can join the day-care centre project. These day-care centres are mainly for children of below poverty line (BPL)/ labour class families. Most of the parents of these children’s are either sweeper or daily wages labour and are not able to take care of their children properly. If you join this program with us, you will have to play a significant role by providing the children with proper care, love and warmth. Volunteers provide one on one attention to each and every child and focus on their overall holistic development. You can also help the day-care staff by assisting them in daily jobs such as teaching and playing games with the children.
The support that can be provided by volunteers at a day-care centre:
- Maintaining the attendance sheet for the kids coming to the centre.
- Informing the parents about the activities of their kids.
- Create a vibrant and playful environment through interactive games, fun activities etc.
- Decorate the day-care centres with colours, papers and crafts to make it look more beautiful.
- Encourage more children to come and join the centres.
- Cultural activity with kids.
- Help staff in teaching kids with fun.
- Cultural activity with kids.
- Volunteers can teach music, dancing, clay toys etc.
