I was in India for 4 weeks, and volunteered 3 weeks at Pragayam school in Old
faridabad. Lets start with the kids: they are the most wonderful, teachable and energic kids i’ve ever
met! I love each and every one of them. I feel like we got a very special connection during my time
there. Bhawna, who is the principal is the lovliest lady. With her big heart, her dream is to see this
kids grow up and Get an education. The project at school was a challenge, but so much fun! I developed
myself a lot.

I have loved every moment of time here teaching in 1st/2nd class with Seema. All the
kids are absolute joys and easily put a smile on my face every day. It feel like it will be impossible
to say goodbye. I spent 6 weeks teaching the mixture of Maths, English, Science, some days definitely
being more successful than others. The kids taught me as much as I taught them, to be positive and
welcoming always, and to be appreciated of all I’ve been given in my life.

I really enjoyed to meet the children of the school and to teach them during a few
days for English mathematics and geography.I worked as a volunteer in India near New Delhi in Jan
Parivertan Sanstha School during 2 weeks to teach English, Mathemathic, and Geograph to the children. It
was a great experience to help Bhawna in her job with amazing children and I really like to live, to
discuss and to eat (excellent chapati!) with Bhawna family. I learned many things about India and Indian
people.

Amazing and perfect 3 months. Incredible children of school and NGO's devotion
towards school is really impressive. Oh, what can I say about these 3 months? Amazing is not enough.
Everything is perfect. Bhawna and Jawahar are two incredible people with a big heart. I was really
impressed by their devotion to the school and the children. For Bhawna school is all her life. Children
are also incredible. There is a big difference between how much they are happy in the school and their
difficulties out of the school. I can really say, I love these kids.

Gandhi said « Be the change you want to see in the world ». Well, during my stay in
Faridabad, I had the opportunity to act this way.
Every morning, I went to school with Bhawna and the other volunteer to meet the children.
I won’t forget their smile, the way they said hello to me, by checking my hands or saying «Namaste». I
won’t never forget how much they want to learn, more and more. I remember Illias or Nikky when they were
sitting next to me to read some texts in English and asking me if they pronouncing correctly. When I
wasn’t teaching them maths or English we were playing, laughing, giving them some hugs. It was very
important to me to give them as much hugs and affection as possible. I won’t forget Gurpreet, when she
was next to me, the way she smiled to me.This experience change my way of living, how I see the world.
If we act good, the world will be better.
